Reneé Peters

Reneé Peters draws inspiration from a variety of sources in her fiddle playing, but she can probably best be described as an Irish-style fiddler with a hint of "Cape Breton drive." She has honed her craft into a style that is all her own: fast and lively, but smooth and lyrical when need be. She has taught fiddle for 10 years to kids and adults alike, performed at all imaginable events, and is a sought after studio musician.

Renee has entertained and charmed both local and international audiences with her crisp sound, produced none other than by the swiftness of her bow hand and fast, nimble fingers. These days, she resides in Antigonish with husband Seph Peters and their son Koster.
