First known as a Cape Breton piper, Rankin's pipes have placed him on all sorts of stages. He has played on stages at the Vancouver Olympics, with DRUM! on the Parliament Hill Canada Day stage, and he’s shared stages with groups like the Chieftains and the White Stripes. Most recently he has been a regular with Nova Scotia legends Jimmy Rankin and Bruce Guthro and runs the monthly Ceilidh at Obladee Wine Bar. When not piping, he's singing and dancing, most recently putting out an album (House Party) with the group Party Boots.
