Alexander MacLeod

Alexander MacLeod lives in Dartmouth and teaches at Saint Mary's University. His first collection of short stories, Light Lifting, won an Atlantic Book Award and was named a finalist for The Scotiabank Giller Prize, The Frank O’Connor International Story Prize, The Commonwealth Book Prize and the American Library Association’s Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction. His most recent work, “Lagomorph,” won the 2019 O. Henry Prize.
