Jen is a classical and Celtic/traditional flute player, teacher, arranger, and composer who performs on the modern orchestral flute, the Irish wooden flute, and the Baroque flute. She holds a Master's degree in Music (Performance) from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Music from Mount Allison University. 

Along with  Anthony Rissesco and Phil Schappert, Jen is a member of the progressive-traditional trio Papilio. Their debut album, First Flight, received ECMA and Music Nova Scotia nominations; their second album, Sociable Butterflies, is now available. Jen is also a member of the Wildwood Flute and Harp Duo with premier harper Alys Howe.
