Jennifer Publicover

Jennifer is a classical and Celtic/traditional flute player, teacher, arranger, and composer who performs on the modern orchestral flute, the Irish wooden flute, and the Baroque flute. She holds a Master's degree in Music (Performance) from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Music from Mount Allison University. 

Jen is a member of the progressive-traditional trio Papilio, with Anthony Rissesco and Phil Schappert. Their debut album, First Flight, received ECMA and Music Nova Scotia nominations; their second album, Sociable Butterflies, is slated for release in October 2018. Jen is also a member of the Wildwood Flute and Harp Duo with premier harper Alys Howe. She has also freelanced with the Charlottetown Festival Orchestra, the Stadacona Band, Symphony Nova Scotia, and early music group Rejouissance. She teaches at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts. Further information can be found on her website here.
