This hands‑on workshop brings together two of Antigonish County’s most respected tradition‑bearers for an engaging session focused on rhythm, lift, and stylistic nuance. Participants will learn a selection of jigs, reels, or strathspeys drawn from the MacGillivray family repertoire and the broader Cape Breton tradition, with attention to bowing, phrasing, and dance‑driven groove.
