Join seasoned session musician Mark Currie for an engaging introduction to the bodhrán, rooted in the traditional Kerry style. Since picking up the instrument in 1988, Mark has developed a distinctive rhythmic voice shaped by his background as a highland piper and lifelong love of traditional music.

 In this beginner-friendly workshop, Mark will guide you in developing dynamic accompaniment skills, focusing on groove, pulse, and how to lift a session without overpowering it. By the end, players will gain greater confidence, control, and creativity in their drumming.
